I. STATUTORY COMMITTEES

 

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Executive Committee, consisting of 9 members as per UGC Guidelines, is the apex policymaking body of the college. It approves all academic, financial and developmental proposals of all other Statutory and Non-statutory Committees for implementation.

FINANCE COMMITTEE

Finance Committee approves all proposals relating to Budget, Fee Structure and other financial matters.

ACADEMIC COUNCIL

It is the apex Academic Body of the college, which approves the Course Structure, Syllabi, Examination patterns and opening of new courses.

BOARD OF STUDIES

Each subject has a Board of Studies constituting of faculties of the Department concerned and members from outside. Head of the department is the ex-officio chairman of the Board. It frames the Courses of Studies, revises the syllabi when required, suggests the panel of question setters and examiners and   passes the results of the concerned subject.
 

II    OTHER COMMITTEES ( NON-STATUTORY )

 

DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

It assists the Principal in all developmental activities of the college.

 

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE

It looks into the grievances of the students and staff and recommends steps.

 

EXAMINATION COMMITTEE

It looks into all matters relating to examinations, viz: passing results, malpractice and hard cases.

 

BUILDING COMMITTEE

All proposals relating to construction of building are routed through it.

 

DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE

All cases of indiscipline and misconduct are referred to it for scrutiny and suggestion of remedial measures.

 

ADMISSION COMMITTEE

It looks after all admission work of the college.

 

PURCHASE COMMITTEE
All proposals of purchases are scrutinized by it for approval.

 

LIBRARY COMMITTEE

It looks after the purchase of books and journals and overall management of the library.

 

RESEARCH COMMITTEE

All research proposals submitted by teachers are routed through it.

 

RESIDENCE COMMITTEE

It looks after the policy matters relating to management of hostels and recognized messes.

 

WOMEN'S  CELL

It looks into the grievances of women students and employees.
