CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
GAMES AND SPORTS
The college has a sprawling play ground with facilities for
indoor and outdoor games such as football, volley, cricket,
basketball, and badminton. Indoor games facilities include
carom, chess and table tennis.
GYMNASIUM
The college has a multi-gym for the use by students and
staff for development of their physical fitness. It remains
open daily for two hours each in the morning and evening.
PROCTORIAL SYSTEM
All the students of the college have been divided into different groups and each group is assigned to a teacher who acts as the proctor to interact with the students on academic and other matters. Reports of the performance of the students are referred to the principal and also to the guardians of the students.
SEMINARS/PROJECT WORKS/FIELD STUDY
Seminar, project work and field study are part of the curriculum. Weekly seminars are held on Saturdays in each department. The Seminar papers, Projects and Field Studies are evaluated as part of Internal Assessment.
COMPUTER LITERACY
The students and staff are encouraged to develop their computer skill through computer literacy programmes provided by IGNOU Study Center and the Computer Point. The college also conducts Computer Literacy Programmes and Workshops regularly.
PLACEMENT CELL
In the wake of globalization, there has been a plethora of employment opportunities in such sectors as Insurance, IT, ITES etc. A placement cell has been formed under the aegis of FM (A) College to enhance the employability of the students.
