Students’ feedback is an essential part of
our teaching learning process. Here students
can grade their satisfaction towards the
faculty, teaching, learning, evaluation and on
the overall campus life. The information
provided by the students are kept confidential
and used by IQAC for the overall quality
enhancement of the teaching learning process.
Hard copies of self administered questionnaire
are circulated among the students for this
purpose. A well drafted feedback form with
specific questions as per the comprehensive
level of the students is distributed at every
semester to evaluate how far the teacher had
been successful in reaching out to the advanced
as well as the slow learners in the classroom.
This is further intimated to the concerned
faculty in the academic meeting and suggestions
for development or appreciations are made. In
addition to the students feedback from their
parents, Alumni and teachers of the college are
also taken every year.

The National Programme on Technology Enhanced
Learning (NPTEL) was initiated by seven Indian
Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi,
Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Guwahati and
Roorkee) along with the Indian Institute of
Science, Bangalore in 2003. Five core
disciplines were identified, namely, civil

were developed in this phase.
The main goal of NPTEL Phase II (2009-14) was
to build on the engineering and core science
courses launched previously in NPTEL Phase I.
An additional 600 web and video courses were
created in all major branches of engineering,
physical sciences at the undergraduate and
postgraduate levels and management courses at
the postgraduate level. Several improvements
such as indexing of all video and web courses
and keyword search were implemented.

and conduct training in his/her college.
Any college which is organising the Training
needs to get a computer lab ready with machines
that support sound. There is no lower or upper
limit on the number of participants. This just
depends on the number of computers available.
For additional participants, laptops if
available can be used.
Support from IIT Bombay is available over

computer should have a webcam via which the
Spoken Tutorial team can monitor the Training
and answer questions.
If the participants wish to take the test they
must do so a month after the Training.
